With a refreshed 2025 Youth Advisory Council (YAC) now in place we asked our 2024 Council to share their thoughts and reflections about their experience in Telstra Foundation’s first YAC.
The Youth Advisory Council Inaugural Impact Report 2024 celebrates the achievements and experiences of our first YAC and highlights their passion and leadership as our next generation of changemakers.
The YAC’s report shines a light on how the insights and perspectives have helped us envision a more inclusive and connected digital future. It also gives a big shoutout to our Council for their honesty, courage, and curiosity in sharing their time, lived experiences, and bold ideas throughout the year.
This report emphasises the importance of listening to and amplifying the voices of young people. And it’s no coincidence that this is central to Telstra Foundation’s mission. The Council’s insights and reflections have been instrumental in guiding our efforts through 2024.
The inaugural impact report is a testament to the inclusivity and the invaluable contributions of our YAC and it marks an important stage in our journey towards a more connected and inclusive digital future for all young Australians.
